Kendaragama told a media conference on Thursday.

(06.06.2012) The insurance industry has recorded an annual growth in terms of overall Gross Written Premium (GWP) in the segments of general insurance and long term insurance. The overall Gross Written Premium (GWP) Income for Long Term Insurance and General Insurance businesses was Rs. 78,512 million compared with the previous year amounting to Rs. 66,253 million which reflected a growth of 18.50%.
